Type of residence

These guest houses must be located in a building with architectural character and a marked history: chateau, manor, stately home, abbey, convent, fortified farm...

The guest rooms

The welcome is forthcoming, friendly and attentive.
The guest rooms are, for the most part, in the principal residence.
'Suite' designates two adjoining bedrooms or a bedroom with connecting lounge or corner lounge.
All soft furnishings and textiles are of excellent quality.

The decor

The decor of these properties are typically 'chateau' with beautiful furniture, fixtures, paintings, carpets and ornaments (the majority of these are antique originals). All these elements together create a luxurious environment that gives guests a true taste of chateau life.
The decoration of the guest rooms reflects the properties’ historic and majestic feel. However, some rooms feature a contemporary style with an antique twist provided by the furniture and accessories.

The Setting
